The Mizzou baseball team will play in its final Big 12 Tournament this week as it heads to Oklahoma City for the annual affair at Chickasaw Bircktown Ballpark. Sixth-seeded Mizzou will open its 10th straight Big 12 Tournament against No. 3-seeded Texas on Wednesday evening at 7:30 p.m. It marks the third straight year that Mizzou will play Texas in the opening round of the Big 12 Tournament. The Tigers will play again on Thursday against either second-seeded Texas A&M or seventh-seeded Kansas at either 12:30 or 7:30 p.m.

The No. 9 Missouri softball team won their fifth straight Regional Championship, and fourth in a row at home, with a 2-1 victory over the Illinois State Redbirds on Sunday afternoon.

The game times have been announced for the 2012 Phillips 66 Big 12 Baseball Tournament and the No. 6 seed Mizzou baseball team will play third-seeded Texas at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday (May 23) at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark in Oklahoma City. With one swing of the bat, Ashley Fleming put Missouri into tomorrow's Regional Championship with a walk off home run in the bottom of the ninth, lifting Mizzou to a 1-0 win over DePaul.

Mizzou Golfers Emilio Cuartero and Jace Long ended the 2011-12 season at NCAA Regionals as Cuartero tied for 26th in the tournament followed by Long who tied for 43rd place. Chattanooga swept the awards at the NCAA Bowling Green Regional, finishing 5-under-par as a team. Stephan Jaeger (Chattanooga) was the individual medalist with a 13-under-par score through three rounds.

The Mizzou baseball team won the final scheduled meeting between Mizzou and Kansas in any sport as it won the final of a three-game series, 6-3, on Saturday afternoon (May 19) at Hoglund Ballpark. Senior Conner Mach went 4-for-5 with three two-out hits and three two-out RBI as he helped the Tigers improve to 28-26 and 10-14 in Big 12 play. With the win, the Tigers are locked into the No. 6 seed in next week's Big 12 Tournament.

The Kansas and Missouri baseball teams faced off for the final time in the regular season as conference rivals Saturday.
